Akasa Scala is a stand alone media player allowing you to enjoy your digital media in High Definition on your living room TV without the hassle of connecting a PC. Now you can watch your pictures and movies or listen to the music and even download files via P2P sharing with a touch of a button. The on-screen interface is easy to navigate using the remote control and simple menu’s.
Scala is compatible with all popular media formats which can be played from external USB device (HDD, USB stick or card reader) or streamed from local network via the Ethernet connection or wireless dongle (optional). Installing the 2.5” SATA HDD or SSD drive inside the media player brings out its full potential allowing for media library storage in one easy manageable place and downloading from P2P servers.
